A tip of the cap to fan Shanoah Dingess who took this eyebrow raising photograph at the Speakeasy Spectacular. It seems as though referee Billy Scarlet is taking a monetary sum from Baron Doroshov before Anatoly’s match with Marion Fontaine. Although we haven’t heard back from the film department, witnesses at the event say that Mr. Scarlet’s final decision to disqualify Fontaine was HIGHLY suspect.
Fontaine had pulled down the top rope and his opponent sailed over to warrant the DQ. HOWEVER, earlier in the bout Anatoly physically threw Fontaine out of the ring with no reprimand. More details as the story progresses.
